BRISBANE'S BEST CYCLING ROUTES

Brisbane has the perfect climate to cycle all year round.

Livelo has mapped out a selection of Brisbane's best road riding routes, with options to suit a wide variety of riders and riding opportunities.

BRISBANE RIVER LOOP (24.2mi / 39km)

Bike Routes Livelo Brisbane River Loop

The most popular ride in Brisbane, the River Loop is the perfect introduction to Brisbane's many riding pleasures and the perfect recovery ride, whether that's recovering from a tough weekend century or 24 hours cooped up in a A380.

Most of Brisbane's popular hotels are only a 5 minute ride to the River Loop, so it's nice and easy to get started. Stoping is not so easy. There are just too many great cafe options to choose from: "I think I'll just do another loop while I decide..." And did we mention that this route is mainly on separated bike paths? It is, and this makes it very easy and safe to navigate for visitors from out of town.
